COMA, steadied within striking distance of the pace until the far turn, moved around horses with ease, assumed command after straightened for the drive and won as rider pleased. GRAY BROOK sprinted into command before a half mile, shook off DO-DO early, saved ground and held on gamely after losing the lead. LAVION, outrun in the early stages, moved on the extreme outside in the late stages, but was unable to menace. GABY H. passed tiring horses. TEL-AVIV saved ground to no avail. HELLO PUDGY weakened. RAREDICTION went evenly. MILL POINT was unable to keep up. 0. S. BOUND had no mishap. DO-DO retired.after failing to reach the leader. The others were outrun. The latter worked his way up on the outside to assume command entering the stretch but was not good enough. EVELYN L drew clear after a quarter mile, established the pace to the final quarter mile and weakened. WHITE BRAND went evenly, APPOINTMENT was sent up on the outside after a half mile but was unable to make up ground in the late stages. DR. REES was unable to make up ground along the inside.
