Record Crowd at Hamilton HAMILTON, Ohio, Aug. 24. Saturday racing fans at Hamilton exceeded the expectations of even the most optimistic officials here as 9,330 racing fans packed every available inch of the Butler County Fair Grounds. The overflow spilled into the elm-shrouded centerfield where additional facilities had been installed to accomodate such a throng. At the close of the nine-race program 89,102 had been put through the tote machines. This was the biggest crowd ever at the Fair Grounds and the mutuel handle was only topped by the Labor Day play last season. The overflow throng was in a happy mood as Earle Daniels Ironclad galloped to his second success of the meeting in the featured Charles N. Hayes Purse. Ironclad was the favorite of the crowd and returned .00 while touring the about seven furlongs in 1:26. N I I
