Colorado Notes CENTENNIAL RACE TRACK, Littleton, Colo., Aug. 24. Carl Weir has the distinction of leading exercise boy, sayeth chief clocker Joe Walter, "first man on the track in the morning and gallop his last horse just prior to training hours closing." Doubles in the afternoons in the mutuel department. Training hours every day, 5 a. m. to 9:30 a. m. last race off at 6:15 p. m. rather full schedule. Jockey Taylor Powell, capable Centennial booter, is doubling in his ability as a horseman He is currently performing as rodeo clown during the Little Britches Rodeo at the Arapahoe Country Fairgrounds. Total jockey fees from Thursdays Jockey-Guild Day was ,32G.
