SKIP was allowed to settle into best stride, moved through on the stretch turn and, after disposing of CAJOLE, held sway over the onrushing GULF STREAM. The latter, unhurried in the early going, moved up between horses going to the far turn, swung wide for the stretch run and was getting to the winner. BLACK COFFEE was between horses throughout in a good effort. CAJOLE tired after making the pace to the furlong marker. ISLE OF BOND loomed menacingly while moving up from the outside on the final turn and then flattened out. FIRST ENDEAVOR was never a serious contender. McCREIGHT pressed the pace while on the backstretch and then faltered. IF MONEY showed nothing. COUNTRY GOSSIP was through early. SIR HOOP was overmatched. Scratched 98054 Fair Pilot, 111.
