The latter, unhurried in the early running, made his bid from the outside cn the final turn and was getting to the winner. SEVEN PILLARS was between horses much of the way and made up some ground. SORORITY MISS held on fairly well after forcing the issue to midstretch. SHERRY raced slightly wide in an even" effort. BLUE CANARY broke alertly but in a tangle, was guickly straightened away to force the issue to midstretch where he wore down FAST ITEM from the outside and had enough left to hold NIGHT OWL safe. The latter, unhurried while being outrun early, rallied from the outside on entering the stretch and finished full of run. FAST ITEM, hustled along early to gain the lead, saved ground and gave way readily when challenged. UNA WHILLY found her best stride too late. BRAVE ADMIRAL was void of early speed.
