HELICOPTER had speed from the start, took a clear lead in the stretch and continued well but just failed. SKYRIDE was -best of tired horses. BILL AND ME saved ground while prominent and tired. BEAU RAMBLER went into command at once, drew out when urged on the final turn and won under punishment. STAR- BORJEAN, rated along while saving ground in the opening half mile, was blocked when making her bid on the final turn and closed well when clear. GRAY NIGHT was forced wide on the first turn, raced wide improving position and finished resolutely. PIPCON had no mishap. STORM BIRD tired. SUITS N PANTS broke poorly. TIMELY REWARD tired. MIGHTY SON, unhurried the opening stages, drove boldly between horses to challenge and was not good enough. HY POMP was a sharp contender from the start and lacked a closing rally. BOLD HUNTER, hustled along to gain command along the backstretch, drew out on his own courage on the turn, then held MR. C. G. safe under pressure. The latter was never far back and closed gamely but was not good enough. PLAY TOP was within striking distance and faltered in the final furlong. SIR LORTER had no excuse. MR. BOB W. appeared a trifle green early, but closed well and should improve off the effort. STIMULANT had early speed and then gave way. CLICK-CLICK had to be cautiously handled while between horses. DALCAR, reserved early, was steadied momentarily when lacking room on the final turn and rallied gamely when clear. DECAPOLIS tired from his early efforts; as did FRIENDS ADVICE. .
