WATTLE BLOSSOM gradually raced to the leaders while in hand, raced to the front on the final turn, then drifted out and was tiring in the last stages. DARK PATROL was hard pressed setting the pace, offered little resistance to the winner, but held on well after being displaced. BRASS RING raced closer to the pace than usual, but lost ground coming around horses for the drive and could not get up. BLUE LAW worked forwardly between horses and finished well. G-TWO was never a threat. MORDIGAN was outrun. MISS SHADOW was not a threat. PINK SANDS stopped badly. Scratched 523954 Josies Boy, 118; 52606 Winning Fleet, 114; 53461 Happy Carrier, 124. DOVER DAM was pocketed and restrained between horses rounding the first turn, was rated when clear until the final turn, then willingly drew clear under punishment. APPEASE NOT raced well out in the track, but closed steadily and was up to best FUGITIVE. The latter was a keen contender and weakened under pressure. FAITHFUL RING reached the front when urged, but gave way in the final drive-. STRONG TIE could not keep up under brisk handling and lost ground being steered wide for the drive. LADSLOVE tired.
