HUNDRED PROOF, outrun early, became a threat in the early stretch and wore down the leaders to win easily. LUCKY HARP was no match for the winner after having put away ACHILLES. The latter set the pace and then weakened. GOLDEN OBJECT gave way gradually after having been formidable in the early running. FOX CASTLE was outrun.
