Jockey Walter Mann Convicted On Tampering With Coin Box NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., June 29. Jockey Walter J. Mann, 30, of Philadelphia, who had been riding here, was convicted in 6th District Court, Providence, on Tuesday, by Judge Luigi Pasquale on a charge of tampering with the mechanism of a coin telephone. Mann immediately upon being found guilty and fined 00 plus costs announced an appeal and was released in bail of 00. The two men arrested with Mann, Joseph J. Germano, of Albany, N. Y., and Dominic J. Mufale, same, city, were found guilty with the former being sentenced 30 .days and ,thetlatter to 20 days. Both appeaje4, -and were released ,.oq0 bail ,000 each.
