V. J. Sheridan of Ontarios HBPA Presented With Plaque TORONTO, Ontario, June 29. The directors of the Ontario region of the HBPA, at a recent meeting here, presented their president, V. J. Sheridan, with a .handsome plaque bearing the inscription "To V. J. Sheridan, president of the HBPA for seven consecutive years, in appreciation of his great service to the .horsemen and to racing in Ontario." In accepting the plaque, Mr. Sheridan stated that he greatly appreciated the honor bestowed upon him and the plaque would be one of his most cherished possessions. He further stated that the accomplishments of the HBPA during his term of I office could never have been attained were j it riot for the loyalty and fine cooperation I that he had received from his directors.
