Espinosa Keeps Smart Saddle Form at Ascot - Mexican Reinsman Scores With Sister Roman in Second Race By Staff Correspondent -ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 8.— Victor Espinosa, 20-year-old Mexican jockey who has attracted much attention here with his riding the past week, turned in another fine job astride Paul Holthus Sister Roman as the Hannibal filly registered a head victory over P. E. Wilkinsons favored Coax Me in the second race. Espinosa sat chilly with Sister Roman while saving ground through the opening half-mile of the race with Coax Me stalking her in fourth position under wraps. Guy Smithson sent Coax Me up around the turn and appeared certain to take command in the final sixteenth but Espinosa kept Sister Roman going under a strong hand rfde that brought them home by a short head. Sister Roman paid 0.20 and was timed in 1:21% for QVz furlongs. It marked the fourth win in 16 mounts this week for Espinosa. Apprentice Mason Gordon drave Loyalty Oath to his maiden victory in the opening race with the Olympia gelding paying .60 for a two-length win over Miss Ebony. The winner was timed in a moderate 1:22% for 6% panels and completed a Daily Double worth 9.60.
