L. Kirks Lukes Charm brings up the rear at 105. Should all nine go postward in this edition of the Louisville Cap, the winning owner will receive ,426.25, less starting fees. Hasty House Farms Oceanic II. is due to make his American debut here Saturday in the War Admiral Purse, a conditioned test for three-year-olds at 6 furlongs, and should he perform creditably there is a distinct possibility that the French-bred son of Nosca from Adieu would make the trip to Pimlico and be a starter in the 83rd Preakness Stakes on May 16, trainer Harry Trotsek revealed here this afternoon. Oceanic II. had a big work over the local strip in preparation for his bow, going 6 furlongs in 1:13% on Monday, and just this morning breezed a half mile in :49%, from the starting gate. Noureddin will be returning to the scene of his greatest effort. Just 53 weeks ago, he came flying out of the pack in the 84th Kentucky Derby to charge down the middle of the strip and finish third to Tim Tam, being but a length short foi* all the money and glory. The colt went on to the Pimlico only to go wrong in the Preakness. That infirmity kept him on the shelf until last March, when he -returned to action at Gulfstream Park and in five races since that time he has finished fourth on four occasions. • Just four weeks ago Noureddin was last seen in action in the initial running of the Laurel Maturity. He finished fourth to Talent Show, Piano Jim and A Dragon Killer, being but four lengths short while conceding weight to the aforementioned trio. Efforts by such a top notch colt as this can hardly be overlooked and he will likely be heavily backed Saturday and should rule a short priced favorite. Cuvier Boy Victor in Downs Handicap Cuvier Boy has already won a stakes at this session and a second sizable pot is well Avithin his grasp. He was -not favorably treated in the weight assignments as he will be attempting to stretch his speed well past previous efforts. The four-year-old son of Commodore Lea emerged a driving victor in last weeks Churchill Downs Handicap, in which he carried 113 pounds to a neck decision over Greek Chief. He covered seven furlongs in 1:22%, four ticks over the course record. The Cincinnati-owned colt won the hard way as he was forced to go out and wear down the early speed and then still have enough left to withstand a challenge through the closing furlong. The race certified his gameness and another front-running performance is well within the realm of possibility. Allie and Billie Reubens Hasty House Farm is sending forth a strong trio with possibly Troubadour H. being the best of these. The English-bred son of Guersant won his only outing of the meeting when he registered a front-running victory over 1 1-16 miles.
