Entry Blanks Are Released For Adjacent Hunts Meeting NEW YORK, May 8.— Entry blanks for "the Adjacent Hunts race meeting at the Blind Brook Polo Club on Saturday, May 23, have been released by racing secretary John E. Cooper. The program is featured by the ,000 Connecticut Cup at 3 miles over timber and the ,500 Adjacent Hunts Cup, a 2-mile hurdle test. Purse distribution for the seven-race program has been hiked to ,100 in contrast to the ,800 offered in 1958. A record crowd in 1958 taxed the facilities of the Blind Brook course, and in anticipation of an even larger attendance this year, additional pari-mutuel facilities and parking areas have been provided. The meeting is run for the benefit of the Fresh Air Fund. Post time for the first race is 1:30 p.m.
