Darwin Lovemans 17-Horse Unit Arrives at ThistleDown NORTH RANDALL, Ohio, May 8.— The first shipment of horses to check in at ThistleDown from Gulfstream Park was the seventeen-horse string of Darwin Loveman, local industrialist. As usual, the Loveman string will be handled by Bobby Cramer, who was last years leading trainer at ThistleDown. Cramer did not check in with the horses as he has taken the star of the stable, the three-year-old colt Beechmont, to Garden State for stakes engagements. Until his arrival, the outfit is under the direction of ex-jockey H. Allgaier. »
