Hull,__E. R. Doll and W. P. Garrigus, addressed members of the Thoroughbred Club of America and representatives of other branches of the livestock industry in Kentucky at a dinner-meeting in the "Lafayette Hotel Thursday evening. The subject was: "Research and Diagnostic Services to All Branches of the Industry." All speakers were agreed that an expansion of these services was a necessity as Kentucky was woefully behind many other states in this respect due principally to a lack of funds for expansion. Clarkson Beard outlined the parts that the Grayson Foundation -and Keeneland had played in past programs. Suggestions were sought as to the methods whereby all branches of the livestock industry could unite in developing improved facilities. TCA president Duval A. Headley presided at the meeting.
