Takes D. D. Mitchell Lease PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 6.— Cecil Locklear has leased from trainer Homer S. Mitchell the contract papers on apprentice Dixie Dean Mitchell, a maiden "bug" rider. Dixie Dean is the son of trainer Mitchell and brother of jockey Bobby Mitchell. The younger boy has ridden numerous quarter-horse winners and has enjoyed considerable experience in race-riding during the past year.
