WEE FOURS worked her way up on the extreme outside, responded to late urging and drew clear in the late stages. CREWHALL moved through along the inside to near the pace on the final turn, rallied under pressure, but was not good enough. QUICK DEAL broke alertly, was taken off the pace and steadied to the far turn, regained the lead and faltered. FRONTENAC saved ground to hold a forward position. ANNIES CHOICE had no mishap. ASH TRAY weakened after a half mile. TIDEHEAD failed to make up ground with a late rush. LITTLE AUD was never a serious factor. The others were outrun. EASTER HOUR sprinted into command soon after the start, increased her lead down the backstretch, was allowed to come •outside in the stretch and faltered. REGAL STONE lacked a closing rally.
