DEL TEX MAID had good speed and easily displaced SMALL PACKAGE on the final turn, then continued willingly and won in handy fashion BOLD MYTH was strongly urged through the drive, saved ground and finished gamely. KEN0 HILL raced wide from the beginning, had to be taken in hand going out on the turn, then tired when set down for the drive ORNUM saved ground, but was not a threat. SKY TOP gave an even effort. SMALL PACKAGE faltered badly. PAGE PUG buck-jumped after leaving the gate. DOVER MISS had to be taken up when threatened with interference at the start by PAGE PUG. BLACK AND BLUE was briskly urged to be with the pace, gave way to PHARAS BEAUTY on the turn, but saved ground and, after regaining command in the stretch, determinedly resisted SULMARI. The latter raced to the leaders from the outside rounding the far turn, then was not good enough challenging BLACK AND BLUE through the stretch. PHARAS BEAUTY gained a short lead on the turn, but steadily weakened in the final quarter mile. TALFOURD came around horses to improve position late. WEST MILTON could not keep up. LADY LIKE was done early. SHALLOW BROOK was outrun. PICTURE CARD was not pressed for early speed and was taken wide for the drive BLUE JACK was taken up at the break. HELFAST broke alertly on the inside, was steadied when outpaced by horses from the outside, then was steered around horses entering the stretch and won rapidly going away, BUFF was a sharp contender from the outside, reached the front in the drive and held on fairly well. SWIVET raced between horses in the first flight and slightly weakened. GRACIES LARK had speed into the stretch and weakened. WAREHOUSE was outrun. SONORA BELLE faltered DUNTREATH MISS began slowly. Won driving; second and third the same. FAIR TRIAD was lightly rated in close attendance to TEDDYS LIGHT, drew clear of that one when roused for the stretch run and held OUR JESTER safe. The latter sluggish and far back early, saved all possible ground while steadily making up ground, then ca/Vo Ti.n*1 challenging in the drive and finished fast. TEDDYS LIGHT set the pace under pressure from rAlR triad, could u not stay with that one in the drive, but held on fairly well. ROYAL FREEDOM gradually in weakened and was drifting out at the end. ETERNAL DANGER tired. ROZS FOLLY was done early ALTHAEA O* broke poorly and was not pressed for speed. CARYS HOPE quit. The latter, alertly opened a commanding lead, drifted wide into the stretch and gave way suddenly in the last sixteenth. GUNGA DIN could not keep up early, but closed well in the late stages. LORD JEFF was a keen factor to the stretch and faltered. BOOK MATCH was outrun. CAROLYN R. had no mishap. SANTAS GIRL dropped back early in a dull effort. BLUE ERRARD and DANCING HARP stopped badly. KAMEHAMEHA was allowed to maintain his own pace while going along evenly for a half-mile, then wended forwardly between horses when punished and closed with a rush to win going away. DARK ROYAL was steadied close to the pace, wrested command from VIDI with difficulty in the stretch and could not resist the winner. KHAN, slow to reach best stride, rapidly improved position on the final turn racing on the outside, then attempted to lug in and could not get up. CHARMING WAY was a keen contender, raced slightly wide into the stretch and weakened. VIDI was hard punished resisting DARK ROYAL in the stretch and faltered suddenly in the last sixteenth. EATONTOWN raced within striking " distance under steady pressure, headed PIPING ARMS at the half-mile, but drew clear only in the last sixteenth. PIPING ARMS raced BLUE RHYMER into defeat rounding the turn, held on tenaciously in the stretch to the final stages and wilted. HIRAM JR. was formidably placed, but lacked a rally. JAMPOL had no mishap. EUCLID was outrun. BLUE RHYMER had her usual early speed and stopped badly.
