CYKIE was sluggish in the opening quarter, worked his way up between horses and closed the best of any. GO JEEP GO moved to the for racing into the upper turn and then had nothing left for the final drive. BROKEN STRIP raced evenly. ACQUIESCE was slow to gain best stride. ZYBIE was never a factor. COUNT TWENTY raced within striking distance from the outset, responded gamely to pressure through the stretch and, after disposing of NIEMBRO CUEr was drawing clear. OLD LIMBER loomed the most dangerous at the furlong marker, shied from a piec of paper on the track in midstretch, and then continued on gamely after regaining stride. CLYDESTOWN ran a strong race from his outside position. BON JOUR ALICE was slow to gain best stride. NIEMBRO CUE quit badly when the real racing began. SAM McAFEE was never a factor.
