Harlem Square Assigned Top Rutherford B. Hayes Impost THISTLEDOWN, North - Randall, Ohio, June 14. Racing secretary Fred Burton today released the weights for the Rutherford B. Hayes Handicap to be run on Wednesday, June 16. The Hayes, the second of the Ohio presidents series, calls for three-year-olds and upward to travel one mile and one-quarter for a purse of ,500. There is also a trainers award of 50. Top burden of 121 pounds has been assigned to Mrs. A. M. Creechs Harlem Square, recent winner of the first one-mile race to be staged at modern ThistleDown.
