Trainer Tommy Kelly arid jockey Bill Hartack left for Monmouth by airplane Sunday. Groom Hagan said that the loose shoe on Pet Bullys right front foot that caused a delay in the paddock before the Californian Saturday apparently came loose again during the race and was badly sprung. Outside of shoe trouble, Pet Bully was okay, he said.
