Limelight Is Suffering With Minor Stone Bruise Will Have to Pass Up Shevlin; No Immediate Plans for High Gun AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 14. Mrs. Walter H. Hoffman, Jrs. Limelight was the only casualty reported after Saturdays Belmont Stakes. It was learned today that the Nasrullah colt, who finished third to High Gun arid Fisherman on Saturday, came out of the race with a minor stone bruise. This will cause Limelight to pass up an intended venture in the 5,000 Shevlin Stakes at seven furlongs here at Aqueduct next Monday, and he will now be pointed for the Ohio Derby at ThistleDown, then continue westward to California. Trainer Max Hirsch said today that he had no immediate plans for King Ranchs High Gun, though the Belmont winner is eligible to both the Shevlin and the 0,000 Dwyer Stakes at a mile and a quarter on July 3. The strapping son of Heliopolis came out of the classic in fine fettle. It was learned today that C. V. Whitneys Fisherman is a definite candidate for the Shevlin, dropping back to seven furlongs after narrowly missing at a mile and a half as there is no other race available before the Dwyer that is sure to fill. Llangollen Farms Porterhouse, who tired as though "short" in the Belmont, is also a Shevlin probable. The Endeavour n colt suffered an interruption to his training when he developed a recurrence of his back injury before the Peter Pan.
