French Derby to Le Petit Prince Special to Daily Racing Form PARIS, France, June 14 Reuters. Laudy Lawrences Le Petit Prince won the French Derby, Prix Du Jockey Club over a mile and one-half at Chantilly Sunday. Ralph Strassburgers Ahtares was second and Madame Jean Cocherys Sica Boy was third. The winner by Prince Bio, out of Mercia. He is trained by Charlie Sem-blat, trainer of six winners of the Prix. Oyer 30,000 people watched the race in pouring rain over a dangerously slippery course. Le Petit Prince took the lead at the start of the final straightaway and fighting tenaciously against Antares and Sica Boy, won brilliantly. The race was worth approximately 5,000.
