Jockeys Dew and Hatcher Injured in Training Mishaps FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, HI., June 20. Dale Dew, one of the leading riders here and Gayle Hatcher, who has not been riding with much success, were Involved in an accident here this morning when, horses they were exercising collided. Both boys were rushed to St. Marys Hospital at East St. Louis. Preliminary examinations showed Dew suffered a broken blood vessel in the right arm and a probability of more serious injuries to the member. Hatcher complained of back injuries and the extent of his hurts will not be known until X-rays are made.
