E. T. Ted Dooley Appointed To Rockingham Park Post NARRAGANSETT PARK, Fawtucket, R. I., June 20. Edward T. "Ted" Dooley, assistant racing secretary at Narragansett Park, today was named to a similar capacity at Rockingham to work with racing secretary E. O. "Ed" Pons at the coming meeting at the New Hampshire course. Dooley, who currently is serving his second year as assistant to Ty Shea here, has served in various capacities at several major tracks and is regarded as one of the ablest of young racing officials. A star hockey and baseball player while at Moses Brown School and Brown University and at present an official in the American Hockey League, young Dooley began his racing duties as a program seller at Gansett, the track which his father, Judge James E. Dooley, serves as president.
