CANDLE WOOD was intermittently urged saving ground within striking distance, wrested command under punishment in the last eighth and continued gamely. PENOCC was a sharp contender, lost ground racing slightly wide into the stretch, but finished determinedly. REIGHBOUT began sluggishly, made up ground under strong urging, then may have been second, but for running up behind PENNOC and having to take out in the last sixteenth. ROYAL BATTLE was hustled along and raced into a commanding lead on the turn, but suddenly weakened in the final eighth. OUR GOB was in hand to the final quarter mile and finished well. OFF AT 6:10 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. BE CHALLENGING closely pressed BOBBYS BULL from the start and drew clear under punishment in the stretcfi run. BOBBYS BULL saved ground taking the early lead, set an even pace and lasted to beat JOHNSON T. The latter, away well, was steadied inside of horses at the half mile, then closed well in the stretch. PELAGE raced between horses throughout and lacked an effective rally. WARM ENOUGH weakened after a half mile. ANOTHER MOON could not reach serious contention racing on the outside. SCANDIA was outrun. SOUTH HOLLAND went lame. Overweight Warm Enough, 1 pound; South Holland, 1. Bobbys Bull claimed by C. F. Bowles. Another Moon claimed by L. J. Stephan.
