Arlington Grass Feature Lures 10 Hanger Entry vs. Hasty House Pair Ruhe Goes After Second in Row; Juvenile Fillies Clash In Pollyanna Prep Sprint ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 20. One of the finest grass fields ever assembled here for an overnight feature was entered for. Tuesdays ,000 Attention Purse at Arlington Park. Scheduled j at one mile and one-sixteenth on the turf course, the Attention attracted ten run- j ners, headed by Hasty House Farms duo of Ruhe and Oriental Spring and W. A. Hangers pair of Iceberg II. and Richelieu H. All but Ruhe are foreign-bred. Rounding out the Attention field are William Hal Bishops Diamond Joe, Clover Leaf Stables King, Mrs. O. S. Demings Warless, Armer-Nail Stables Deb Chaser, Buddah Stables Dance Nsing, and Fred Hoopers Olympic. Secondary feature on Tuesdays card is the St. Charles, ,500 preview of Pollyanna Stakes hopefuls at five and one-half furlongs. Topping the classy -nine-horse aggregation are two well-bred juvenile fillies, Bwamazon Farms Nasrullah offspring, Judy Rullah and Mrs. Ada L. Rices Citation filly, Prize Story. Others in the St. Charles are Armer-Nail Stables Little Pache, Pollard and Haskins Requestette; Howell and Smiths .Grecian Ayr; Hasty House Farms Hasty Queen, Herve Racivitchs Brookwood, Dry-mon and Girdlers Token Tune, and Mrs. E. K. Thomas Windsail. All but Grecian Ayr are named for the 5,000 Pollyanna, Monday feature of Arlingtons second week of racing. Returned to Winning Ways Friday Ruhe, one-time ranking grass competitor, returned to his winning ways last Friday at Balmoral, closing stoutly in the final eighth to win a six-furlongs grass sprint in convincing style. It was the veterans third start this year and his first victory. Also his first since-1953, when he enjoyed his most profitable year, winning the Equipoise Mile at Arlington and turning in seconds in the Meadowland and Washington Park Handicaps at the Home-wood course. Iceberg II., Chilean-bred horse by Espa-din Bellagamba, makes his Chicagoland 1955 debut coming off a third place showing June 11 in a Belmont distance event on the regular course. The 1953 grass champion is winless this year in five starts, although he managed a third .behind Stan in the Hialeah Turf Handicap. Richelieu IX, another Chilean import, makes his eighth American start in quest of his initial win. His best was a third last out at Belmont, a mile and one -half overnight handicap on the dirt. Last year Richelieu won the Arica Handicap in Chile. Oriental Spring, English-bred runner was sixth in his American racing debut at Balmoral, a grass test at the Attention distance. Before shipment to America, Oriental Spring won the Spring, Xeon Gate, and. Richmond Stakes.vall grass contests. Dance Nsing comes into the Attention off a Balmoral grass victory. It was the frist win this year for the horse in four starts: He went unplaced in the Continental Turf Handicap and managed a fourth in a mile dirt race won by Devilment. King was a good fourth behind Ruhes winning effort last Friday at Balmoral. It was his eighth futile attempt this year. He went unplaced in both the Continental and the Citation Handicaps. Olympic, English-bred son of Bfg Game, has not won a race in two years, although he did finish third in a Balmoral regular course sprint. He was sixth in his latest effort behind Montenegrin and No Return at Balmoral. Diamond Joe also is winless this year, including four Balmoral outings against good allowance competition. ,
