ROVING KIND, weJJ placed from the start, took command from JUG BAND after entering the stretch and drew clear when ridden out. ELNDEL, outrun to the stretch, closed willingly, Jjut could not reach the top one. JUG BAND began fast, set the pace until inside the stretch, but faltered when challenged by ROVING KIND. THE SPY tired during the drive. CHRIS ALMO failed to respond when set down through the stretch. PLATO lacked early speed. . SPEEDY VAN was through early. ENGLISH FLIGHT began sluggishly and raced wide. BONDED BOURBON showed nothing. BILLIES ANN was never dangerous. SON AL had brief speed, but failed-to stay. BUY BOOKIE, well handled, gradually improved position to the stretch, then responded readily when shaken up and, disposing of DIAMOND LADDIE, drew out to win with speed in reserve. The latter took command at once, established a long lead before .reaching" the stretch, was weakly handled during the drive and could not stay with the winner, although good enough on his own courage to easily best the others. RED BUD LANE was unable to better his position when set down through the stretch. MONROE COUNTY lacked early speed. KING FIDDLE tired during the drive. WISE TRAFFIC had a rough trip. KEYWELL began poorly, losing all. chance UTARUM could not keep up. CRIMSON DUST showed little. DENE BALMER was never a serious contender. NOTTAWA TIGER quit after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. THIRTY GEMS had-brief .speed. Scratched Miss Widgit, 115; 50905 Beckys Pride, 110. The latter began fast, disposed of DAISY CUTTER entering the stretch but could not stay with the winner. DAISY CUTTER raced well to the stretch, then faltered. RAYS CONNIE could not keep up. CLEVER MISS raced wide. JUST A MOMENT was never prominent. JANICES GIRL had no mishap. REWARDMENOW had no excuse. FREE HYMA raced far back throughout. The latter took an early lead, set the pace until inside the stretch, but could not withstand the top one, although much the best of the others. DR. FELIX had early speed, but failed to stay. ROSE OF GREY began alertly, but dropped back after the start and could not stay in serious contention. BELRIA tired after racing well to the stretch.
