PART TIME was forced to race slightly wide while in close attendance of the pace and gradually drew into a clear lead in the final furlong. BOLD HUNTER had speed from the start and held on gamely, but was not good enough. TRIPLE HONORS, slow to gain best stride came between horses with a belated rush and should go better when sent a longer distance. LENA SHINE had to be carefully handled early and showed a good effort. SAGMATE saved ground and hadno excuse BOBNJACK was within striking distance and lacked a closing rally. NOBLE PRIZE tired. CHIME RING found room along the rail when making his bid, drifted out slightly leaving the final turn and got the nod over STAR BORJEAN. The latter eased back nearing the first turn, was sent through on the rail thereafter when improving position, threatened boldly in the stretch and missed in a good effort. TIMELY REWARD was a sharp factor from the start and faltered learing ike end. PIPCON, allowed to trail early, rallied mildly when set down for the drive. STORM BIRD challenged boldly on the outside on the final turn and faltered. JACK FIZZ came out of the race lame GRANDMAS WINE bore out on the first turn and was through after the opening half mile. ANDRA FAIR was forwardly placed and could not menace. SPECIAL BLEND broke sluggishly. MISS LOCATION was taken up repeatedly during the running to avoid horses heels and should improve off the outing. KARATINO bore in badly along the backstretch and weakened the final quarter mile. SAM VALLIER was rank the opening quarter mile while lugging in WAR HOUR tired, as did SIS MORAN.
