Donofrio Holds Trainer Lead NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., June 20. Al Donofrio, top trainer it the fall meeting of 54, saddled one w inner Saturday and took lone possession of first place in the race between the conditioners. Donofrio now has tightened the girth on five winners. N. J. McClure and Ed Hays remained tied for second, each sending out four to the charmed circle, while "Ralph Lentini, Bill Resseguet, Bill Hinphy, Roger JLaurin and H. O. Livingston were bunched behind the leaders with three winners each.
