BEST CHANCE, never a great distance back, rallied from the extreme outside on the turn to wear down the leaders on entering the stretch and was all out to hold START NOW safe. Tha latter, slow to start, moved from between horses in the final quarter and finished full of run. NOMAD raced slightly wide and made up some ground. FANCY BOY was well placed but lacked a closing rally. GHIBLI had no apparent excuse in an even effort. BROWNSKIN had his customry early speed and tired. UNCLE FUD was through early.
