Four Tyro Candidates Show Speedy Triajs at Monmouth MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 28. Four candidates for Mondays Tyro Stakes were on the tick for speedy trials indicating they are fit for the engagement in the five and a half furlong number on the holiday. DandH Stables Needles displayed excellent form and fine speed going six furlongs in 1:14. Carolyn K. Stables Hi-Sac zipped off three furlongs in :37 and Beauridge Stables Nans Mink went even better over the same distance, being timed in 36. Royal Monarch, from the Wilton Stable, worked a half mile in 48.
