LIVING HIGH went around the leaders to gain command, dewcleTin the sVtch, weakened nearing the end and just lasted over WEEPERS.BOY . The atter had speed from the start, could not match strides in the stretch and came again. FLYING REDBIRD closed strong after a slow beginning. A claim of foul against FLYING REDBIRD by the rider of ROMAN BATTLE was not allowed. The latter took up when impeded along the backstretch, came between horses when gaining best stride and closed strongly in a good effort. TRAILWAY had no excuse. TASA was with the first flight early and tired JOSTEEVA broke in a tangle, made a mild bid on the turn and tired. ROYAL COLOR gave way after flashing speed. GOING EASY was through early. D. was much used vying for command and had nothing left for the real test. CRYSTAL MAGIC was never a serious threat. BARGE IN took up when bearing out entering the turn. JOLLY DOLLY tired. THIRD STREET was knocked back soon after the start. SWICK was bothered entering the turn. ARTHUR CHARLES liad brief speed and gave way.
