Helioscope to Be Vanned To Aqueduct Before Dawn Will Meet High Gun at Level Weights in Carter on Monday AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 28. Undismayed by the prospect of meeting King Ranchs High Gun at level weights, trainer H. Hausner will van William Helis, Jr.s brilliant Helioscope to Aqueduct during the cool hours before dawn Wednesday. The record-breaking son of Heliopolis is scheduled to arrive at the Long Island track at 5:30,- a.m. to fill his engagement in Mondays 0,000 added Carter Handicap at seven furlongs. High Gun. and Helioscope each carry 133 pounds in the Independence Day fixture, while High Gun just failed to concede his rival five pounds in the Suburban at a mile and a quarter, their margin being a head. High Gun appeared decidedly more tired than his rival at the end of that grueling stake, but the result was generally regarded as inconclusive, somer acute observers feeling that Sammy Boulmetis outsmarted "Heady Eddie" Ar-caro in the drive. . . Just who will oppose the two sons of Heliopolis in the Carter is a matter of conjecture, but their more probable rivals appear to be A. G. Vanderbilts Social Outcast, 123; Joe W. Browns Bobby Brocato, 116; Woodley Lane Farms Red Hannigan, 112; Greentree Stables three -year-old Gold Box, 111; J. Ross Clark n.s South-arlington and Brookfield Farms I Appeal, 110, and Clifford Lusskys Tuosix, 108 pounds. There may be a few others, including Dark Peter from New Jersey and Blessbull from New England. To return to High Gun and Helioscope, the former won the Dwyer here last year, but was far from impressive and wore show horse rigging to keep him from bearing out while working here between races last week, while Helioscope has never started on this peculiar track. These factors may encourage the owners and trainers of some potential rivals.
