: Divide Juvenile Stakes at Omaha Speedy Akboy, Court Dowd Head Respective Sections; Former After Fifth in Row By DEAN WILLIAMS Staff Correspondent AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 28. Twenty-four of the original 35 two-year-olds nominated for the Ak-Sar-Ben Juvenile Stakes were entered Tuesday morning to run in the ,000 added Wednesday feature. Due to the large number of entries, the five-furlong stake was divided and will be run as the fifth and sixth races. N. R. Lows Akboy and C. Jennings Court Dowd, both undefeated at this track, will head their respective ends of the Juvenile Stakes. Akboy meets 12 two-year-olds in the first division including Mrs. Hazel Phillips Tsa-Toke, Mrs. Edgar Wallaces Channel Guide, Sandvig Bros., and A. Amersons Baby Swords, Mrs. M. E. Osbornes Karim Light, T. M. Johnsons entry of Kevin D. and Abstainer; Wayne Davidsons High Bloom, E. E. Blackwoods Blue Concho, Ed Luthers Wild Grace, K. Chaf-ins Bull Lanty, T. A. Gaughans Stone Crystal and J. T. Dillards Anizami. The second division will have 12 horses going to the post. Akboy was shipped here by his owner, N. R. Low, near the middle of the Ak.-Sar-Ben meeting after winning his first two starts at Fairmount Park. The son of Ak-bar Runin Play was shipped for the Ak-Sar-Ben Juvenile specifically. Has Beaten, Most of Rivals During his wait for the running of the stake, he has won two races in as many outings in impressive fashion. Most of the colts and fillies he will be asked to meet Wednesday have gone down to defeat at the heels of the fleet chestnut colt. Court Dowd, who will go to the post in the second division, the tougher of the two sections, has only been beaten once in her short career which includes only four starts. Her only defeat was over a heavy track at baklawn Park. The roan daughter of Court Scandal set a track record of :52 in her only start at this track while -winning easily over Tidy Step and Kevin D. Though she has not been out since June 10 she has been training well and should be ready for a top effort. E. C. Team43 Native Texan and Tom Westropes Partner Tim, who finished second and third in that order to Akboy in their last out, will probably have the best chance of defeating the highly successful Court Dowd. Others in the twelve-horse second division of the Juvenile Stakes are R. Harpers La Consentida, V. V. Long, Sr.s Vohn, Double L Farms Black Bikini, F. H. Scroggins O. Gay, C. N. Brewers Staylanx, E. K. Careys Sligo Sol, T. A. Gaughans Annies Abbey, J. D. Krauses Irish Bim, and Olen Sledges Pacemaker.
