Helioscope Shows Sharp Speed in Prep for Carter MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 28. William G. Helis, Jr.s Helioscope was in his usual brilliant form in a six-furlong training chore over the fast strip here this morning1, being clocked the distance in 1:12 with jockey Sam Boulmetis steadying him hard through the complete spin. The big bay, -who is expected to make his next appearance in the 0,- 000-addcd Carter Handicap as a 133-pound co-highweight with King Ranchs High Gun, was obviously in the best of trim and stepped off even fractions of :23, :35 and 1:00. Helioscope is slated to leave for Aqueduct Wednesday morning.
