BOLDER assumed command at once, was responsible for the pace while under rating and withstood the extended challenge of PREXY MAC. The latter joined the leader on the turn and fought it out willingly. MUSCOVADO held a menacing position but was slow to respond. ROLLING BOY made up ground through the stretch. NEXT BEST was badly impend leaving the backstretch and had no chance. ADVICE could not keep pace. KUM-ON-IN and FLYING JET stopped badly. Scratched 53267 Sir Stake, 113. BANNER WAVES raced with the pace and held on well despite a bad .landing at the tenth jump. MONKEY WRENCH weakened in the final half mile. FLAW was never a factor, nor was KINGALE. BOMBDRA dropped back immediately after the start and made up ground steadily in the late stages. MISS WILMA closed with a belated rush. BULL LEADER faltered early. SOUNDPROOF was through early.
