Kentucky Derby champion Swaps startled onlookers this morning when he breezed the final quarter of a mile workout in with exercise boy Chester White having a good hold. White had Swaps under double wraps as he went the first quarter in :25, the half in :50 and the three-quarters in 1:15. The rider let out a notch for the final two furlongs and. it took the big fellow :2oVs to breeze the distance and ring up his final time of l:38js. Following his speedy drill, Swaps spent another 45 minutes on the track cooling out. Next start for the son of Khaled is the Westerner, on July 9.
