High Gun and Fisherman Topweights forSussex Neither Seen as Starter; Jet Action May Accept 122 Impost DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 28. King Ranchs High Gun and Cornelius V. Whitneys Fisherman, neither of whom is expected to be in the starting field, have been assigned 134 and 127 pounds, respectively for the 5,000 added Sussex Handicap, the mile and one-quarter event which brings this 32-day meeting to a close here on Monday, July 4. High Gun is in the seven-furlong Carter Handicap in New York on the holiday, while Fisherman has been retired. Below the topweighted pair, and a-possi-ble starter, is Maine Charice Farms Jet Action, who was assigned 122 pounds. Two pounds below that one in actual weight, but three pounds, over the; scale weight, comes Foxcatcher Farms Parlo with 120 pounds. This good filly will compete in Saturdays Delaware Handicap, the worlds richest race for fillies and mares which eliminates her from consideration as far as the Sussex is concerned. - Below the Delaware-owned filly comes Brookmeade Stables Capeador, under 118 pounds. This fellow has trained satisfactorily in New York, being credited with a mile in 1:45 as recently as Monday. Grouped at 116 pounds are two doubtful starters Foxcatchers Cheviation and Reverie Knoll Farms Smoke Screen. Greentree Stables Maharajah gets in the 10-furlong affair under 115 pounds, followed by James Cox Bradys Artismo and Fly Wheel, a recent purchase from the C. V. Whitney sale for 5,000 by the Mon-aghan Farms. They have been assigned 114 and 113 pounds, respectively.
