Pollys Jet, Decathlon Going to Monmouth Crack Two-Year-Olds Will Start In Featured Tyro on Holiday MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 28. Barclay Stables Pollys Jet and River Divide Farms Decathlon will both soon be on the grounds to prepare for their encounters in the 5,000 added Tyro Stakes that will be renewed here on July 4. Decathlon, who Saturday won the Narra-gansett Nursery Stakes to keep intact a perfect record for four starts, is expected to arrive at the stable gates some time this evening or tomorrow morning. Pollys Jet, who has been unbeaten in six starts, will be vanned in from Delaware Park next Thursday. The latter will be accompanied by six other Barclay Stable performers, including the highly regarded Irish-bred, Aug Hill. The latter, a juvenile son of Royal Charger, is also nominated to the Tyro, but he will compete, in the Dover at Delaware on Wednesday and probably will be reserved for the Sapling Stakes on August 8. D. and H. Stables Needles, who was beaten in only one of his starts, was meanwhile preparing over the local oval for his engagement in the Tyro. The son of Ponder, an impressive winner here recently, turned in a sparkling prep. He handily went six furlongs in 1:14 and turned in sharp i fractions of :23, :35, :47 and 1:00.
