Filly by Helvetian-Contraction Foaled at Blue Star Farm •FREEHOLD, N. J., May 9.— Blue Star Farm has a homebred filly Helvetian out of the mare Contraction, by Condiment. " The filly arrived last Monday at Charles Burkes Lincroft Farm and represents the first homebred of the breeding and racing partnership of Albert Martell and George Katsotis of South Plainfield. Contraction will be bred back to Helvetian, the sire of Colonial Farms filly Miss Royal, winner of the Prioress at Jamaica last month. Blue Star Farm has two juvenile fillies in training with H. J. Gorney. Both are nominated for the Sapling at Monmouth Park this summer. One is named Star Rhodes, by Rhodes Scholar — Celeste Star, by Bugles Blow, the other His Plight, by Platter — Historic Flight, by Historic.
