Official Program Numbers of Placed Horses Official program numbers have been added to Daily Racine Form charts. These official program number! immediately precede each horses name in that portion ot the chart which contains the mutuel prices and equivalent odds to of the horses involved in the official pay-off In most Instances, the official program numbers are similar to the post position numbers: In some cases they are completely different, being affected by late scratches, stable couplings and mutuel fields.
