Michigan Mile Popular DETROIT. — A crowd of 24,667 set a Michigan Mile Day record last season at the Detroit Race Course. It was also the largest turnout- of Michigans 120-day thoroughbred racing season. The 1959 renewal of the 0,000-added Michigan Mile will be run July 11.
