Mrs. E. R. Harriman Tops Three Lady Champions COLUMBUS, Ohio.— According to a list compiled by the USTA here, three lady drivers, still active in the sport, hold world records with trotters and pacers. Mrs. E. R. Harriman heads the list with two; Mrs. Harriman drove Highland Scott,, one mile, on a mile track at Goshen, in 1:59%, in 1929. In 1950, she drove Tassel Hanover in 2:01% over the Goshen half-mile track oval. Mrs. Forest "Grandma" Burright has one record. Mrs. Burright, in her seventies, drove Luckyette in 2:04% in 1943, a trotting record for a lady driver, at Delaware, Ohio. Miss Juahita Dillman has a pacing record for a lady driver. Miss Dillman drove Bobby Lee a mile in 2:05% over the half-mile oval at Hamburg, N. Y., in 1948.
