Open Gates Early SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 23.— The Suffolk Downs gates will open on Thursday at 11 a. m. to take care of the morning arrivals for the gala one-hour show featuring internationally known stars of the entertainment world who will take part in he Christopher Columbus Catholic Youth Center Day sponsored by the Very Rev. Richard J. Cushing, archbishop of Boston. The show will start promptly at noon.
