Giants Jinx Beats CuBs, 2-1 As I win Raps Two-Run Homer The New York Giants, exercising the jinx which they hold over Frankie Frischs Cubs, beat the North Siders again today, 2 to 1, at Wrigley Field before a ladies day gathering of 15,176. The winners got four hits, the losers 10. Paul Minner pitched four-hit ball for his part of the Cubs cause, but he threw one pitch that Monte Irvin parked in the left field bleachers for a two-run homer.
