LADY ADVOCATE, hustled along within striking distance, was steered to the inside and between horses to reach the front in the final drive, and lasted under punishment to hold RINGGOLDIAN. The latter, probably best, was under pressure while racing on the outside of the leaders, was forced to be taken up sharply and to the middle of the track to avoid the bolting ALL HYGRO on the stretch turn, then gamely recovered and was swiftly wearing down the top one. ROSEADA saved all possible ground and assumed command when the leaders swung wide into the stretch, then faltered under punishment. SHINING BLADE was a keen factor while between horses and weakened. SANATAGA was outrun. DR. HIMMY saved ground. ALL HYGRO outbroke the field and held a clear lead to the final turn, then bolted, but was straightened away to finish while beyond the middle of the track. TOUSSIANT quit. Scratched— Fear Bomb, 109. W. Camac; bred by L. H. Kraskin. WENT TO POST— 5:31. OFF AT 5:31 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; seconds the same. SUN BUD was under intermittent pressure while racing in closest attendance to the pace, moved with the other challengers when urged for the drive and gradually drew clear in the last stages. ROBERTO, punished away from the gate, dropped back when taken lightly in hand, then closed determinedly on the outside in the drive and finished on even terms with BABY PAULY. The Jatter, a keen factor, drove through on the inside to reach the front on the stretch turn, then held on gamely for the dead-heat for place. HEARTH MOUSE was going easily while setting the pace, but weakened when put to pressure after six furlongs. CHAGIN rallied from far back. DAYROUND was hustled along to keep up, stumbled on. the final turns and then lacked a rally. GRILLING raced wide and tired.
