Gushen Goes to New England DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 14. Irving Gushen, national president of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, and Thomas Shehan, editor of the Horsemens Journal, departed for New England after attending the dinner held here Saturday evening by the Michigan division of the turfmens organization. President Harry W. Lindy, of the local HBPA, reported today that a crowd of over 400 was on hand for the week-end affair.
