x Laurance Armour, Pollyanna Nominations Close Saturday WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, III., June 10.— Horsemen were reminded today by racing: secretary Frederick G. "Pal" Farrell that nominations close Saturday, June 11, for the Laurance Armour Memorial Handicap and the Pollyanna Stakes at Arlington Park. The 5,000 added Laurance Armour is scheduled for Saturday, June 25, highlighting: Arlingtons first Saturday of racing. The handicap is open to three-year-olds and upward at one mile and one-eighth. The Pollyanna takes the spotlight Monday, June 27, and the 5,000 added five and one-half-furlong dash is restricted to two-year-old fillies.
