Belmont Will Be Carried On Television and Radio The Columbia Broadcasting System continues its coverage of the Triple Crown events this afternoon when it airs the running: of the Belmont Slakes from Belmont Park throughout the country via radio and television. Air lime for both media will be from 3:30 to 4 p. m. CDT. In the Chicago area the race will be seen on television station WBBM-TV Channel 2, and heard over YVBBM radio. Fred Capos-sela again will describe the running of the Belmont, with Win Elliott and Phil Suttcrfield handling the color and interviews. The American Broadcasting Company will move its microphones to Monmouth Park for a description of the Oceanport Handicap, which will be on the ABC radio network only from 4:05 to 4:20 p. m. CDT, but there will be no Chicago outlet, CBS will also present a special program, "Belmont Preview," on its radio network only from 2:00 to 2:15 p. m. CDT during which John Derr will conduct interviews and discussion on the Belmont Stakes.
